Palri-Ling
Palri-ling is a Buddhist organization offering the Buddha’s teachings in a way that honors the authentic tradition and that responds to the needs of our community in the present moment. Palri-ling’s meditation courses, Buddhist teachings, and seminars aim to promote qualities of loving-kindness and compassion in the world, and to respect the environment.
Pal (dpal) means “auspicious and loving-kindness,” Ri (ri) refers to “mountain,” and Ling (gling) can be translated as “many” as well as “garden.” Thus, the name Palri-ling is an invitation to everyone to create and celebrate this auspicious garden of loving kindness.
