[[en]]‘Yoga,’ a Sanskrit term means ‘to join, unite or yoke together’. The essential purpose of yoga is to bring the body, mind, and spirit into a harmonious whole. If you are looking for a more flexible, strong body and a clear, positive heart and mind then yoga is for you. It’s a great form of exercise that will improve your fitness, as well as aid your mental wellbeing. The central methods of yoga are physical postures or ‘asanas’, breathing techniques or ‘pranayama’, and meditation. Yoga includes guidance on healthy lifestyle, eating habits, and mental attitude. Ayurvedic medicine is also part of the Yogic path to health and balance. There are still more things that disturb our mental peace for instance; study and examination, family pressure and guidance, stress for the kids; getting jobs, intimate relationships, problems with spouse and family issues, and other issues like change of weather, your health, relationships with others, loneliness, and also societal competitions and pressure, stress, depression by sadness, indolent distraction, anger, jealousy, being busy, extreme attachment and bad habits. Because of these, depression and loneliness, pessimism, narrow-mindedness, insomnia and even thought of suicide happen. We can call this phenomenon the "sickness" of the era or the "sickness" of city life, or "sickness" of modern developments.

The idea is that by entering more deeply and subtly into our physical experience, we can become more connected with ourselves, more grounded, and less swayed by anxieties or neurotic cravings. Many wise people have said the happiness of your life depends on how peaceful your mind is. But, it is never easy to have a peaceful mind in today's very complicated and troubled societies.There are still more things that disturb our mental peace for instance; study and examination, family pressure and guidance, stress for the kids; getting jobs, intimate relationships, problems with spouse and family issues, and other issues like change of weather, your health, relationships with others, loneliness, and also societal competitions and pressure, stress, depression by sadness, indolent distraction, anger, jealousy, being busy, extreme attachment and bad habits. Because of these, depression and loneliness, pessimism, narrow-mindedness, insomnia and even thought of suicide happen.
